Streamlining Standardization–
TraCert's Innovative Workflow System for ASD-STAN

In July 2024, TraCert launched a comprehensive workflow system for ASD-STAN, including a web based kollaborative XML authoring tool, tailored to write standard documents. The system was designed to enhance the efficiency of over 50 working groups involved in writing international standards for the aviation industry. The system features a manages role-based access, progresses standards through a specific workflow, facilitates polls, organizes meetings, and facilitates approvals of standards for publication.
The system also integrates approved standards into the "Stan-shop.org" webshop, featuring an AI-powered search function based on a Large Language Model (LLM) to help customers find the right standards efficiently.

Create and manage polls

To facilitate decision-making, the system includes robust polling capabilities. Users can create and manage polls seamlessly, ensuring that all stakeholders have a voice in the development process. This feature aids in reaching consensus and moving forward efficiently.

Seamless online shop integration

Approved standards are seamlessly published into the "Stan-shop.org" webshop. This online store is fully integrated with the workflow system, providing an easy-to-use platform for purchasing standards. The integration ensures that the latest standards are readily available for purchase upon approval.

TraCert's implementation of this workflow system for ASD-STAN significantly enhances the efficiency of standardization processes, from drafting and approval to publication and distribution.
